Caura was founded in 2019 with a commitment to offer quality care and assistance to all support scheme recipients. We started as a team offering support and other care services to the NDIS participants. As a Commonwealth Home Support Programme (CHSP) provider, we take another step towards building a community where everyone lives to their fullest, irrespective of their age or disabilities. At Caura, we work passionately towards bringing the benefits of CHSP to all eligible participants and helping them maximise their well-being. With us, all old-aged CHSP participants will receive the support they need to follow their desired lifestyle without being limited by any safety concerns. Age is just a number; it shouldn’t determine your ability to lead an empowering life. Caura aims to be a partner and help individuals live with dignity, respect, and autonomy. Through the essential services we offer, we will support you in your everyday life and promote your overall well-being.

We always work within your boundaries and deliver the basic assistance you need to live as independently as possible. We target the smooth functioning of your household and secure a safe and functional living environment for you. With us, spend your old days in the familiar environment of your home without any discomfort or hassles.

Caura was created based on the founder’s own experiences and a wish to provide a secure, cosy, and empathetic place for individuals dealing with different challenges. The founder realised that it’s tough to keep a regular routine while feeling different and misunderstood, but what’s even harder is the lack of understanding from others. This realisation helps Caura understand and connect with the daily struggles of people with any disability. Caura’s goal is to help NDIS participants with all parts of their lives and be the support system that many find hard to get. Now, Caura is a safe place where people with disabilities can gain the courage to face the world and pursue their dreams. The team uses their own experiences and knowledge to guide people and help them overcome everyday obstacles.

Caura came into being as a response to the struggles with a resultant desire to offer a safe, comfortable and understanding environment for people tackling similar challenges. Maintaining a normal routine while dealing with noise, annoyance, social anxiety, etc., is hard, but what is more challenging is the lack of understanding from the people around us. So, we do understand and relate to the struggles that people with any disability face daily. With Caura, we wish to assist the NDIS participants with all aspects of their lives and be their support system. Today, Caura is a safe space where people with disabilities can find the strength to face the world and chase their dreams. We are versed in autism and use our knowledge to guide people and help them better navigate everyday barriers.

Beyond disability support, we also wish to revolutionise the aged care space. With the team’s contribution, we aim to secure opportunities for older adults to live with dignity and safety within their homes. Through our services, we tap into diverse aspects of aged care, offer the required assistance and support the participants in their journey. Caura was established in 2019, our team has positively impacted numerous lives. Several past participants have built capacity and joined us on the working front. Together with them, we offer the support that empowers the participants to live independently and chase their dreams and goals.
